SKINCARE FOR SENSITIVE SKIN
As a person who has sensitive skin, choosing the right products for my skin isn’t only essential but paramount to me. I noticed the sensitivity of my skin in my late teens. Nothing would work on my skin, not even a mere face wash would work. Talk less of me using any type of face cream. My skin would break out into pieces if it could. When I say nothing worked, absolutely nothing worked. It was a devastating period for me, which led me to properly research what would work for me.
After much researches, I stumbled upon La Roche Posay’s Effaclar face wash. That was the first product I ever tried from La Roche Posay. I remember vividly the first time I tried this product. I was filled with so much joy but I was partially scared of being disappointed for the bazillion time.
When I applied the formula to my skin, I felt a calming sensation, very different from what I had felt before. Anteriorly, I would feel a quick itch and stinginess that resulted in rashes and irritation, whenever I tried other products.
I haven’t stopped using these products since and it’s being a beautiful and positive 10 years journey using products from La Roche Posay.
Today, La Roche Posay is my holy grail when it comes to skincare in general and I don’t see myself putting a stop to that anytime soon. I add other products to my routine depending on the season and what I want to achieve with my skin.
