Today’s post is going to be about some of my favourite fancy and aesthetically pleasing places to eat in Accra-Ghana. When it comes to eating in Ghana, specifically Accra, it comes down to preferences and how much one is willing to spend. There’s a sea of street food on every allé of Accra and a wise person once said the best way to know a town or a country is via it’s street food culture. However, due to personal reasons and experience I don’t do street food. I know that might sound a bit bougie, but it’s the fact. I would rather visit a restaurant with a cleaner setting and a more aesthetically pleasing environment. I have a rather sensitive stomach so I prefer to have my food prepared in a more secure and safer setting. There might be other reasons to why one would want to eat in a fancy restaurant. Like a birthday dinner, a celebration or an orchestra might cause one to splurge on a meal.
Here’s the list of some of my favourite fancy restaurants in Accra – Ghana.
Kozo is a premium restaurant that offers Asian influenced meals. it’s situated in one of the affluent vicinities of Accra. The beautiful ambience comes with a mandatory dress code to match the sophisticated atmosphere. Many famous people, both local and international dine here while vacationing in the motherland. Chances of you meeting your favourite TV personality or fashion model is extremely high while dinning in the beautiful bossoms of Kozo.

Sandbox is a beautiful place to spend the weekend. It’s beach front view and the experience of being surrounded by water will let any stressed and tensed person loosen up. It serves an array of easy and indulging meals like burgers, chips and other juicy edibles. It has a more younger demographic clientele due to its fun filled experiences. An angle of it reminds me of a beach club on the shores of Santorini. If you love outdoor dinning and the beach, then search no more! You’ve come to the right place.

The intricacy of the design on the walls and the neatness of this premium restaurant wouldn’t make you think twice when it comes to you paying for your meals. It’s my favourite place to be, the icing on the cake is the alert and smart staff that stands not so far from the tables. So you effortlessly get the help you need as soon as you stretch your neck…literally.
It’s situated in the Stanbic Height areas of Accra, opposite the Bosch headquarters and Surrounded by numerous banks. There’s also a Casadae shop in the vicinity, so its definitely in the money area of Accra
The fanciness doesn’t end there! There’s a vibrant fun night club in the same building with the best afrobeat hits. I bet you’ll come back to this restaurant countless times.

Are you in search of a fancy restaurant that serves some delicious brunch? Well, Coco Vanilla is the place to be. A bit pricey compared to what other restaurants would charge. However, the ambience plays a roll in the pricing too. Its relaxing, aesthetically pleasing, meals are delicious and the list goes on. Its situated in a well known area as well so its easy to find.
Location: East Legon, Trassaco Valley Road – Accra.
It’ll only be right to write this part of the post in Spanish. Dios mio! El padrino is a miniature Havana in Accra. Now, you know the fusion of these two vibrant cities will be a bomb. It’s a luxury place for a gentleman to be, especially if you are a cigar aficionado, then you’ve come to heaven. They have a walk-in humidor with hand made and quality Cuban cigar. Ladies, surprise your man by booking a table at this fancy restaurant.
